If you haven’t finished all your gift wrapping
YOU NEED THIS ⬇️
This method is how I wrap EVERYTHING
Beautifully
EASILY
No matter the shape or size
Here are my EXACT steps:
- Place your sheet of wrapping paper portrait style flat in front of you
- Place your object to be wrapped at the bottom of the sheet of paper in the middle as shown in the photo below. Here I’m using one of my handmade houses
- Fold up the bottom of the paper so the edge comes halfway up your gift
- Fold in one long side of the paper and then the other
- Turn your object over and up towards the top of the paper away from you
- Keep turning your object over until you reach the top of the sheet of paper
- For neatness, you can fold the top of the paper over to create a sharp edge
- Secure the parcel with a sticker or a square of tape – I use paper tape or stickers to be plastic free and make it easy to recycle
- Tie ribbon or string around your package for decoration if desired
TIPS:
🎁 This method works best if the wrapping paper is not too thick, especially on smaller objects
🎁 If your object is too big for the sheet of wrapping paper, use two sheets placed vertically side by side with a small overlap
